Learning Goals

The pedagogical analysis covers how the product supports learning of the identified skills. The student’s role is assessed by four contrary pair parameters, which are selected to cover the most essential aspects on the use of the product.

The Narrative Journey provides well-designed and pedagogically pre-curated materials to the learners. The product gives instructions and encouragement to move forward as every day or week there are new words and activities for learners. In order to progress the learner is required to use the new words and actually understand the meaning of them.
The learning is based on the ability to adapt the new words that the product delivers. The words are carefully explained in different ways and presented with engaging pictures. Learners get to rehearse the words with simple workbook exercises.
The Narrative Journey provides accurately predictable learning outcomes as the learned words are predetermined. The product offers two different ways to explore the new words - a 5-minute daily practice or one lesson per week.
The Narrative Journey provides classroom activities that can be done with other learners but it is possible to do the activities on one's own. Learners can share their creations with others in a classroom.
