Learning Goals

The pedagogical analysis covers how the product supports learning of the identified skills. The student’s role is assessed by four contrary pair parameters, which are selected to cover the most essential aspects on the use of the product.

Passive
Active
The program offers a learner-led learning path, allowing the individual to broaden pre-acquired knowledge and gain deeper insight and possibly new angles to previously familiar topics. There's plenty of interesting activities that demonstrate a scientific principle or real-life phenomena. Teaching promotes an inquisitive mindset.
Rehearse
Construct
The camp curriculum is based on learning new things through creative tasks. Activities are simple but allow broad learning objectives, which allows for more students to find a natural interest in the activity. Daily and even post-exercise self-reflection promote learning, and the students will also create bigger exploratory projects.
Linear
Non-linear/Creative
In the camp the students will follow a clear daily schedule. However, the camp curriculum is built around reflective evaluation of one's learning and open-ended problem solving and learning activities, it potentially provides infinite learning outcomes. There's a chance for the students to get excited and into the flow of getting immersed in the learning. The material and activities promote paying attention to the individual needs of different learners.
Individual
Collaborative
Group work, belonging and feeling comfortable in the group is emphasized in the camp program in a nice way. Most of the learning activities are designed and described as collaborative, but within them, the individual is building on their own knowledge scheme. There are exercises for forming groups and getting to know each other.

The following are the high educational quality aspects in this product.
